I tried the Group Policy Solution. I really hope they have a solution for this since my colleagues have a bunch of programs that requires .NET 3.5. Ovidiu Looks like Microsoft released another update to fix this issue (fail installing .net 3.5 even with sources), so just update your server and the installation will go smooth :D Anyway After it is done, reboot and try the .Net install again.
