With the deleted entry's of the registry allows me to add drivers again, but the packagei wanted to add, still corrupted my Boot.wim file...

If I'd never stepped through the outdated KB article I could have followed these steps below and saved myself (and apparently a few others) much hassle, but for whatever reason the I've tried adding drivers with dism and that hasn't resolved either.
