Have you got one of a different type that you could try? You don't run it on the unzipped .img file. This time I didn't receive the "access denied" message and the contents of the SD card was read into the file I specified at the beginning of the whole process. I will use the method I mentioned to see if I can have Win32DiskImager detect and close apps that are accessing the device, maybe that will fix the issue. I bought a cheap card and the reason for this is a test of the cheap cards speed.
